Itinerary

Day 1 - Airport Journey To Gangtok
Travel from the airport through the mountains, passing by villages and Darjeeling tea farms.
In the evening, explore the vibrant mountaintop city of Gangtok and see how a modern city has blossomed from the mountain forest.

Day 2 - Gangtok
Take in the sights and sounds of Gangtok and its environs. This will be a day of becoming acquainted with Sikkim's offerings, and what better way to begin than by visiting the local town and it's points.

Day 3 - Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir
This is a full day trip that begins in Gangtok and ends in the late afternoon/evening at the hotel.
Highlights
• Tsongmo lake -a sacred high altitude lake, and most popular tourist site for its scenic splendour
• Nathu-la *(Nathu-la) The actual line of border territory between India and Tibet
• Baba Mandir is a Hindu temple. (A hallowed spot for Indian Army soldiers, as well as a stunning scenery)

Day 4 - Gangtok- Lachen
Approx. travel time 5 hours.
Lachen is the last permanent settlement en-route to Gurudongmar. It’s is a sleepy village with simple and hospitable hotels stays within the village. There are some sights off interest one can visit as out drive out from Gangtok towards Lachen.

Day 5- Lachen- Gurudongmar Lake- Lachung Drop
Lachen, a day excursion to Lake Gurudongmar Lake and return onwards to the village of Lachung.
Driving time- Lachen to Gurudongmar 3 hours one way. The day starts early as Gurudongmar being located at close to 18,000 feet requires an early turn around to avoid getting caught in bad weather.
Note: Departure time from Lachen 4-5 am. Return here for lunch by noon and proceed on towards Lachung, for night halt arrive here by late evening.

Day 6- Lachung- Yumthang Valley-Gangtok
The day covers considerable ground exploring the famous
Yumthang Valley situated at 12,000 feet in the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Driving time from Lachung to Yumthang 2.5 hours one way. From Yumthang to Yumesamdong/ zero-point, 1 hour one way. (Extra charges) We then return back to Gangtok hotel and halt for the night there.

Day 7 - Gangtok-Pelling
Arrive to Pelling, a town in the western district of Sikkim.
Situated at an altitude of 1,800 m. Pelling offers a magnificient view if the mighty Khanchenjunga and the Himalayan ranges.

Day 8- Pelling local sightseeing
Pelling is a must visit for its magnificent views of Mt
Kanchenjunga and the eastern Himalayas. After breakfast we start our full day of Sightseeing.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rimbi Waterfalls – is a waterfall along the route to Khechopalri lake, it is a treat for the eyes, especially during the monsoons.
• Khechopalri Lake – Considered a Paradise for the nature lovers and trekkers is a sacred pilgrimage sight, considered holy by both the Buddhists and the Hindus. This religious place is believed to fulfil one’s wishes.
• Orange Garden – is a beautiful garden located at Rimbi, the beautiful garden connects with an orange orchard. The guests can also explore the garden and the river banks and can enjoy lunch and tea here.
• Kanchenjung Waterfall – is a perennial waterfall situated around the Pelling- Yuksom road. It is believed that the waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mt. Kanchenzonga.
• Pemayangtse Monastery – One of the most important and the second oldest monastery of Sikkim, founded in 1647. It is situated on the top of Pelling Hill.
• Cherezing statue and Skywalk – situated on a hilltop near the Sangachoeling Monastery lies the 137-ft statue of the “Cherezing” is the sign of all the Buddhas sympathy. Along with the statue, is a glass skywalk where the visitor can appreciate the excite of strolling in the glass.
• Rabdentse Ruins – is an archeological site that tells Sikkims story of glory. It was the second capital of Sikkim. Located amidst the spectacular view of the Khanchenzonga peak and the gushing river flowing through the foothills.

Post breakfast at the property, we then head for the airport for your Drop.
