ITINERARY
DAY 1- Bagdogra airport - Pelling
Arrive to the airport and proceed onwards towards Pelling a small town in the western Sikkim. Check in to a Homestay
Day 2 - Day Exploration in Pelling/ Rest
Post Breakfast, proceed onwards to visit the Pemayangtse Monastery - historic Buddhist monastery located in Pelling, West Sikkim. It was built in the 17th century and is one of the oldest and most important monasteries in Sikkim. The monastery is known for its stunning architecture and intricate wood carvings, which depict stories from Buddhist scriptures. Also visit nearby Rabdentsi Ruins the ancient Ruins and the second capital of Sikkim
Day 3 - Pelling to Khechupelri Lake
Embark on a picturesque hike to the enchanting Khechupelri Lake after breakfast. The trail will take you through charming village paths and occasional stretches of a motorable road. Khechupelri Lake holds great significance in Sikkim's history, and legend has it that the pristine lake has wish-fulfilling properties. Its name itself means the "wish-fulfilling lake." The crystal-clear water of the lake is remarkably tranquil, with not a single leaf visible on its surface, even though there is a dense forest surrounding it. It is believed that any leaf that falls on the water is immediately picked up by a bird. Stay at a cozy homestay close to the main monastery and spend the evening exploring the quaint village nearby. Khechupelri Lake is a magical destination, and the journey to get there is equally breathtaking.
Day 4 - Khechupelri to Yuksam
After breakfast head on for YUKSAM which is the first capital of Sikkim and also a base camp for the many famous treks and expeditions in Sikkim. On the way visit KACHENDZONGA WATERFALLS which is a famous waterfall in Sikkim
Day 5 - Yuksam village exploration
Today after breakfast we will head on for hiking halfway to Famous Goechala – Kanchendzonga Trekking trail which falls under Kanchendzonga National Park and is a World Heritage Site too. On the way back visit DUBDI MONASTERY, CORONATION THRONE, KARTHOK LAKE & TRIBAL COMMUNITY VILLAGE, and the countryside of Yuksam.
Day 6 - Yuksam to Hongri Gompa
After a delicious breakfast, set off to your next destination, the breathtaking Hongri Gompa. Perched atop a hill, this serene location offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. With few houses and people around, Hongri Gompa is a peaceful getaway where you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Weather permitting, we can arrange a small campfire for you to enjoy the crisp mountain air under the starry night sky. Spend the night at a cozy homestay and experience the warmth and hospitality of the locals.
Day 7 - Hongri gumpa - Tashiding
Embark on a scenic journey to Tashiding Village after a hearty breakfast. The day's hike will take you along the charming village footpath and motorable roads through scattered small villages, ultimately leading you to Tashiding Village. This village is renowned for its prestigious Tashiding Monastery, belonging to the revered Nyingmapa order of Buddhism. The monastery holds immense spiritual and cultural significance and is a must-visit for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of Buddhism. Prepare to be awed by the grandeur and serenity of Tashiding Monastery and immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings of this idyllic village.
DAY 8 - Tashiding- Bagdogra airport
Post breakfast proceed onwards towards the airport or station based on flight timings.

To embark on the Village to Village trek, a relatively good level of physical fitness is required. The trek involves walking for 5 to 7 hours a day, so it is essential to be in good health. Additionally, mental preparation is equally important for a successful trek.
Individuals with acute heart and lung diseases, asthma, and high blood pressure are advised not to undertake this trek. However, with proper guidance and preparation, this trek can be completed as it does not exceed an altitude of 2200m. Our team will ensure that you have all the necessary information and support to enjoy a safe and memorable experience on the Village to Village trek.

No matter what season you are planning for the mountains are always going to be cold, rough, and tough so it is necessary to pack yourself with adequate and proper clothing. Here is the standard kit checklist for the Trek.
Proper packing of the trekking gears is necessary with eyes on the weight limit. It is important to have a good brand of clothing.
