TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 - Airport - Pelling
Pick-up from the airport or the railway station and head towards the Western District of Sikkim, a small hill station of Pelling situated at an altitude of 2,150 m. The drive is straightforward and passes via the Teesta river.
Halt at a Homestay in Pelling for the night.
Travel time - 5 hrs. approx.

Day 2 - Pelling Local Sightseeing
Pelling is a must visit for its magnificent views of Mt
Kanchenjunga and the eastern Himalayas. After breakfast we start our full day of Sightseeing.
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Rimbi Waterfalls – is a waterfall along the route to Khechopalri lake, it is a treat for the eyes, especially during the monsoons.
• Khechopalri Lake – Considered a Paradise for the nature lovers and trekkers is a sacred pilgrimage sight, considered holy by both the Buddhists and the Hindus. This religious place is believed to fulfil one’s wishes.
• Orange Garden – is a beautiful garden located at Rimbi, the beautiful garden connects with an orange orchard. The guests can also explore the garden and the river banks and can enjoy lunch and tea here.
• Kanchenjung Waterfall – is a perennial waterfall situated around the Pelling- Yuksom road. It is believed that the waterfall originates high up in the glaciers of Mt. Kanchenzonga.
• Pemayangtse Monastery – One of the most important and the second oldest monastery of Sikkim, founded in 1647. It is situated on the top of Pelling Hill.
• Cherezing statue and Skywalk – situated on a hilltop near the Sangachoeling Monastery lies the 137-ft statue of the “Cherezing” is the sign of all the Buddhas sympathy. Along with the statue, is a glass skywalk where the visitor can appreciate the excite of strolling in the glass.
• Rabdentse Ruins – is an archeological site that tells Sikkim’s story of glory. It was the second capital of Sikkim. Located amidst the spectacular view of the Khanchenzonga peak and the gushing river flowing through the foothills.

Day 3 - Pelling to Ravangla via Namchi
Post breakfast and check-out of Pelling hotel, we then proceed towards the Southern district of Sikkim via Ravangla and Namchi.
Arrive to Ravangla, a town in the Southern district of Sikkim.
Driving time 4 hrs (approx.)
HIGHLIGHTS:
• The Buddha Park of Ravangla- Gently seated in a small tourist town in the southern part of Sikkim, Buddha Park is a must visit place by every traveler. This famous attraction serves as an important landmark to the Buddhist community; it was constructed on account of the 2550th birth anniversary of Lord Gautama Buddha in 2006. And to erect the 130 - foot high statue Ravangla was chosen in the Southern part of the state.
Samdruptse Statue -
Samdruptse means "The wish fulfilling hill" in local Bhutia language is a short distance uphill from Namchi, on Samdruptse hill, stand a giant statue of Guru Padmasambhava, gazing upon the town and across the hills. It is 45m tall and covered in shimmering gold, sparkles in the sun. It is an incredible feat of engineering, founded in 1997. The views are spectacular across and the statue can be seen from across many places in Sikkim and Darjeeling.
Chardham Namchi - Pilgrimage-cum-Cultural Centre is constructed on top of the Solophok Hill in South-Sikkim. View for miles, the 26½ m high statue of Lord Shiva in sitting posture that marks the location of the main temple. Apart from this giant statue, the replicas of twelve Jyotirlingas along with the four Dhams; Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka and Rameshwaram are also installed in the complex (7 acres approx). This stunning imitation of chardham amidst the serene nature of Sikkim, has become one of the top tourist destinations in Sikkim, especially among the devotees of Lord Shiva.
